Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-30
This policy applies only to the Pulsar GRC landing page. It describes cookies and similar technologies, such as localStorage, used on the marketing website and in the contact form.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small pieces of information stored in a user's browser. Similar mechanisms, such as localStorage, can serve a comparable purpose. We use them only to remember privacy choices and, after consent, to measure website traffic.
2. What we use on the landing page
2.1 Necessary technical information
Necessary elements support website operation, security, and remembering your analytics choice. They do not require consent where they are necessary to provide the service requested by the user.
| Name / mechanism | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
cookie_consent in localStorage | Remembering whether analytics was accepted or only necessary elements were selected | Until settings are changed or the consent mechanism version changes | Pulsar GRC / Brillnet |
| HTTP request technical data | Website delivery, diagnostics, and infrastructure security | According to the configured Cloudflare Workers Logs retention and provider rules | Cloudflare |
| Turnstile token and verification data | Protecting the form against spam and abuse | According to Cloudflare rules | Cloudflare |
2.2 Analytics after consent
Google Analytics 4 is loaded only after analytics consent is granted. If you chooseEssential only, our consent mechanism does not load the analytics script.
| Name / mechanism | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Distinguishing users in Google Analytics 4 | Up to 2 years unless deleted earlier | Google LLC |
_ga_* | Maintaining session and measurement state for a specific GA4 property | Up to 2 years unless deleted earlier | Google LLC |
We do not use Cloudflare Web Analytics. Apart from Google Analytics 4 activated after consent, the infrastructure records only necessary technical Workers logs.
We do not use marketing or advertising cookies on the landing page.
3. Consent and Cookie settings
On your first visit we show a consent banner. You can accept analytics, choose essential elements only, or open Cookie settings. Analytics consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time.
The Cookie settings link is available in the footer. After you change settings, the new choice is stored in your browser and applied on later visits.
4. Providers related to cookies and similar technologies
- Google LLC - Google Analytics 4, only after analytics consent.
- Cloudflare, Inc. - Workers and Static Assets for website delivery, technical logs, and Turnstile protection for the contact form.
A broader description of data recipients is available in thePrivacy Policy.
5. Browser settings
You can also restrict or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary elements may prevent the website from remembering your consent choice or may stop the contact form from passing the security check.
- Google Chrome: Settings -> Privacy and security -> Third-party cookies or Site data.
- Mozilla Firefox: Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Cookies and Site Data.
- Microsoft Edge: Settings -> Cookies and site permissions.
- Safari: Settings or Preferences -> Privacy.
6. Your rights
To the extent cookies or similar technologies involve personal data, you have the rights described in thePrivacy Policy, including the right to withdraw consent and object to processing based on legitimate interest.
7. Policy changes
This policy may be updated when the website scope, technical providers, or consent mechanism changes. If the change is material, we may display the consent banner again.
